Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne (Australia)

Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) is a sports stadium in Melbourne, Australia. With a capacity of 100,000 spectators, this stadium is the largest in Australia and the eighth largest in the world, and is one of the most famous stadiums in world cricket. Test match cricket that brings Australia’s national team with its international opponents that took place on Boxing Day (26 December) each year at the stadium.
In addition to cricket matches, the stadium is also often used for Australian football games (especially Australia AFL Finals match in September). Melbourne Cricket Ground is also the main Olympic stadium Melbourne Commonwealth Games 1956 and 2006.
