He Hua : Europe’s Largest Buddhist Temple (Amsterdam, Netherlands)

He Hua is Europe’s largest Buddhist temple that was built with Chinese traditional style. This building represents a prominent Buddhist growing on pristinely petals that have not bloomed.

In the He Hua temple there is an open space that characterizes the central temple of Avalokitesvara (female deity known as Kwan Yin in Chinese tradition). Another temple dedicated to the history of the Buddha is Sakyamuni.

Near the historical Buddha there are two pagodas are illuminated with a niche and filled with hundreds of small Buddha statues and the repetition of images symbolizing the Buddha nature everywhere. However, on the floor of the main hall there are Buddha Jade Buddha Shrine and the complex, which is usually used for meditation, meeting rooms, classrooms, library, dining room and bedroom. To build this temple achieve cost 4.1 million euros, or about Rp 4, 95 trillion. Once completed in 2000, He Hua Temple directly dedicated by Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands.
